For a part of society, the current trend is an increasing emphasis on the physical appearance of a person, which can be at the expense of the perception of his own personality. Bikini fitness is a popular sport today based on the pursuit of physical perfection, even with the support of often pandering fashion accessories. Young female athletes become the "ideal of beauty" and can thus have a positive and negative impact on society. The series of photographs is made up of a double portrait of female athletes in a prescribed competition pose and in their natural home environment.
